The Engineering Career Center uses a career management system, eCONNECTION, powered by Symplicity to help Cullen College of Engineering majors develop professionally as they navigate their career journey. Please read the policies. Failure to adhere may cause suspension of Engineering Career Center services.
The eCONNECTION System
- Only available to students actively enrolled in Cullen College of Engineering majors. Please note, students who are not actively enrolled for a fall and/or spring semester will lose access to eCONNECTION for that semester.
- Allows students to conduct an online job search
- Provides detailed information about employer job postings and interview schedules
- Register for upcoming career events
- Visit the Document Library under the Resources tab in eCONNECTION for helpful career related documents and recorded workshops
With eCONNECTION, UH Cullen College of Engineering students may:
- Conduct a strategic job search
- Learn about employer job postings and interview schedules
- Apply to qualified positions
Student Responsibilities
- Update your eCONNECTION profile
- Create and upload your resume and cover letter
- Upload unofficial UH transcript after completing your first semester
- Review upcoming professional development events and register to attend
- Learn about upcoming career fairs
- Review documents like resume and cover letter samples as well as, recorded workshops in the document library under resources
- Check your profile for campus and virtual interviews
